Road Closure notice
A carriageway patch repair on Old Road, Magham Down, Hailsham, on Wednesday 31st August.
Old Road will be closed to through traffic between 8am and 4pm from Amberstone to Nodes Lane. Traffic will be diverted via A271 Amberstone, A271 Hailsham Road and Old Road.

Herstmonceux Transport Access Group hope to still deliver their planned public meeting, Monday 30th March, 7.30pm at Herstmonceux Village Hall, to present the results of their survey.

Herstmonceux Transport Action Group (HTAG) are currently undertaking further consultation throughout the parish. The information gained from the initial consultation period has enabled HTAG to progress to this point. East Sussex Highways due works - Update 2 of 3
2. East Sussex Highways will shortly be carrying out footway works on Monceux Road, Herstmonceux. This is in preparation for footway surface treatment later in the year. Works will take place from 9-13 January. There will be minimal traffic management, and we do not anticipate any significant disruption to vehicular traffic.

East Sussex Highways due works - Update 1 of 3
1. East Sussex Highways will be carrying out drainage works on Bemzells Lane, Cowbeech, which will start on Monday 6th January and continue for 2 days. Bemzells Lane will be closed to through traffic between 8am and 4.30pm from Studdens Lane to Chilsham Lane.

Sewer Improvement Works, Herstmonceux
Southern Water will be making some improvements to the sewer network in Chapel Row, Gardner Street and Victoria Road, Herstmonceux.
The work is due to start on November 4th 2019 with a site compound being established at the junction of Victoria Road and Joes Lane. Working hours will be from 7.30am to 6pm Monday to Friday. Expect additional vehicle movement and activity in the area.
