New Planning Application for the Horseshoe Inn, Windmill Hill

A new planning application for the Horseshoe Inn at Windmill Hill has been submitted to the Local Planning Authority and received into the Parish Council for their submission of Comments and Observations. Formal Opening of Herstmonceux Public WCs

Formal Opening of Herstmonceux Public WCs

The re-opened public toilet facility was formally re-opened by Cllr Pam Doodes (Chair of Wealden District Council and District Councillor for Herstmonceux and Pevensey Levels) on Monday 21st October 2019 at 2.00pm.

Sewer Improvement Works, Herstmonceux

Southern Water will be making some improvements to the sewer network in Chapel Row, Gardner Street and Victoria Road, Herstmonceux.

The work is due to start on November 4th 2019 with a site compound being established at the junction of Victoria Road and Joes Lane. Working hours will be from 7.30am to 6pm Monday to Friday. Expect additional vehicle movement and activity in the area.
