Herstmonceux Parish Council reopening of public facilities

The Parish Council have re-opened the Children's Play Park and a Public Toilet facility following the easing of lockdown.

These facilities will be opened between 9.00am and 6.00pm daily, give or take a few minutes for any necessary health and safety measures to take place prior to opening. Although the Parish Council have committed to cleaning the frequent touch points in both of these facilities twice daily, the emphasis fully remains on users to take responsibility for their own safety, as according to latest government guidelines to the general public about frequent hand washing and social distancing.

Full risk assessments have taken place to enable us to do this. Please find these documents below should you wish to view them.

Key messages for use of Herstmonceux Parish Public Toilet in combating spread of COVID-19:

-Please sanitise your hands before entering (use own sanitiser, we do not provide this).

-Maintain 2m social distancing

-One person at a time (unless accompanying a child).

-Wash your hands for at least 2 minutes.

-Do not enter the facility when being cleaned

-Toilet is used at own risk, facility is not sanitised after every use.
